IT Employment

Your best bet to get some of the real world expierence you need is through your college. I am also currently a CIS student, and I am currently an IT intern at a major corporation. I got the job through contacts in the career center at my school. All schools have similar programs, and they can introduce you to internship or co-op opportunities at corporations throughout the country. At the company I am currently working at, they will even help to relocate you to their headquarters for the summer/duration of your internship.
Another possibility is getting an internship through your CIS department at school. Many professors need lab assistants, and many schools have IT helpdesks. It may not be the most glamourous job, but it will work for entry level, and perhaps could lead to more rewarding opportunities. At the very least, you could put it on your resume.

What do you now about some affiliate programs? Surfing in web? It not a give you mach money right in a moment... bat if you have a website...
