Open PDF files from Access

With some members help I wrote an Access app that searches a database of file names and will display the file(word doc). I have been informed that the service bulilitens are now going to be recieved in the pdf format. How can I open adobe reader and feed it the file name.
The mecanics search based on the model my program then uses the search information to create a stirng that is the path to the file.

I don't know if the answer is as simple as this, but.... I can open a PDF file from Access when Adobe Acrobat has been installed on the computer and consequently the computer recognizes the PDF extension as being associated wiwth Adobe Acrobat.

To do, I did this:
1. Add a field to the table with a datatype of OLE Object
2. Put the pathname of the file in the field name

It should open right up!
