Open With Option

Here is an off the wall question concerning Windows ME. When trying to access a file your system does not recognize, the “Open With” option box pops up and asks you to select a program to read/open the file you clicked on. My question is: I have erroneous application options in this box from attempts to open unrecognized files..How do I delete these applications from the “Open With” option box?
