    OpenBSD install problem

    While trying to install OpenBSD i get a system crash after selecting the media for my network.
    THe Install is a cd ISO i made and i have tried 2 different NICs as wel las selected all aval media. after selecting the media it will just sit there not doing anythign and the only way out is a reboot it will install fine if i skip the network configuration but that just will not do as it is estinal that bis machine ba able to get out . why does it hang like this ? is there any way arround it?

      Check the OpenBSD FAQ and make sure your NICs are compatible. Also, try downloading the 3.1 install floppy and do an ftp install. It is possible that the cds you have are corrupt.

        This was a good answr i never gave thought to the cd being corrupt. I neded up just installing a copy of NetBSD because of it larger NIC support.
