opening internet explorer in kiosk mode

By donalconlon ·
Hello,
How do I configure Internet Explorer to always open in Kiosk mode.I do now wish to use the run box and put the -k switch after iexplore.exe. When I double click on the IE icon on the desktop it should open in kiosk mode. All web links and favourites should also open in kiosk mode. I know there is a full screen registry key but when I set it to yes it seems to reset itself to no for some reason. All help appreciated. Thank you.

That is the correct Technet article, and yes, it is still there. Here is the URL:

(please remove any spaces that might creep in when you copy/paste from techrepublic.com)

This only tells me how to use kiosk mode from the "run" box not from the desktop icon or any shortcut. Would you know why the full screen registry entry keeps resetting itself to no after it has been changed to yes.
