My computer has a propriatory power supply rated at 140 watts. Iam running 2 hard drives, 1 floopy and 3 cooling fans. I have tried to add a cd-rewriter and the computer would not boot up for lack of power. Can I run the cd-rewriter using an additional power supply and if I can, how would I do it?
