Recently my server room has a small cable fire, which lasted around one hour but didn’t make serious damage to the equipments and the building.
When my staff found it, he don’t know how to handle, so he dialed Fire Alarm 119 (similar to 911 in USA). The incident is well known to all now.
I think this is a management problem, So I would like to get help for the following topics.
1. The operating manual to avoid or prevent the incident, such as fire, humudity, temperature,…;
2. Thecrisis management procedure or plan;
3. The R&Rs in above procedure;
4. Other tips to address the issues in the server room;
I would like to get the help in the operating manual. So the template or form is highly welcome, or the clear text guidelines is good.
