How many Operating systems can we install in Hard Disk??

Depending of the Hard Disk's size and the number of partitions. One OS you can install in one partition. Theoretically you can install how many do you want.

The maximun partitions in the boot.ini file on windows systems is seven.

And in Theory if you use a different Base OS

you can install the maximum number of available letters in the alphabet as different partitions so taking into account that A & B are set aside for Floppies and that you'll need at least 1 optical Drive the max number would be 23. Although if you where to install from a Network Access Point you could in Theory have 24 OS's on the one HDD if it was big enough.

Though personally I've never found the need to have more than 6 or 7 OS's on a single computer.

Based on my IT experiences, I would recommend to install not more than 2 operating systems. You can have more than 2 (max 7), but this could cause some problems with computer's performance. But this also depends on its configuration..
