I have a black screen and this message on my Compaq Presario 1516US notebook. I called Compaq Tech Support but they’re not open until Monday. Is there anything I can do short of restoring to the factory image? I don’t want to go thru the pain of losing my data and reloading all the software I’ve installed in the last 18 months.
