Try removing the new RAM,

and replace (if removed) the previous RAM, or if you left the old RAM installed, reboot with only that. Your new RAM module may not be compatible with your motherboard, or may not have been installed correctly. Other possibilities are loose connections, short circuits, etc. Need more detail for better answer.

Ram

Ram has compatibility with your motherboard if its not compatible it won't load or your lappy will just blink open then close again. To check it try to put back the old ram then try again if it loads the problem is with your new ram it might not be compatible with your motherboard. There are things that need to consider before buying ram.

Hope it helps.
