OPINION – Intel Socket 775 Processors

Requesting OPINIONS on the following Intel (Socket 775) Processors. Specifically their performance.

Please, no comments on Core 2, I already know they have better performance, but they are not the subject of this post.

Celeron D
3.33 GHz
L2 Cache 512kb
FSB 533 MHz
Hyper-Threading = NO

Pentium 4
3.0 GHz
L2 Cache 2mb
FSB 800 MHz
Hyper-Threading = YES

I am wondering if the P4, even though it is slower, with the better Cache, FSB, and Hyper-Threading support gives better performance.

I am especially interested in gamers opinions who use the Celeron and play games spec’d for P4. Any problems?
