The current config of my network is :
1 NT server serving 20 clients via 3Com hubs.
My problem is that a new client should be setup at 260 meter away from the NT server. Someone told me connecting the client thru optical fiber so as to overcome the distance limitation of Cat5.
Could you tell me (in detail about the hardware & software) how I could setup this hub-optic-client system. I have no exprience in doing this.
