In need of the help from the masses here:
Here is what I’m working on for the home…
multiple rooms;
1-bedroom
2-living room
3-den
4-dining room
5-garage
6-backyard/porch
7-here and
8-there
each location has access to the following on a home made panel:
usb-different types
coax-video
1394
multiple rca jacks
voip
ethernet-catx
optical-audio..like toslink etc…SC connector
hmdi
what I’m looking for is to be able to run video from source X (1-8) to destination Y(1-8) using the same medium at the same time, but the source and destination are not wired directly to each other…kind of like an optical mux, a switch or bridge…but independent of each other too…
Neither the source or destination would be wired together, but to the same device and intelligently routed to the destination.
If you have any idea what I’m trying to do and have any idea…please let me know..thanks in advance!
