Options to see CPU's in WinNT 4.0

By tlhastie ·
I have a NT Server that has two processors in it. Under task manager you can set the option to see the performance for each cpu. I noticed that only one CPU was showing up. I have replaced the CPU, the voltage regulator module and processor card. Only one cpu is still showing up. When the system boots it sees both CPU's. Is there any other utility in NT that will see the second processor if it is good?
Appreciate any help that can be sent my way as quickly as possible.

Are you sure you enabled the multiprocessor driver for the 2 CPUs? You have to change the driver if you add a 2nd CPU to the multiprocessor type. I would check out the drivers and make sure the right one is running.

There is a utility called "Uptomp" that will help you. It is in the resource kit or you can download it from microsoft for free. Be carefull when you select your new "HAL". This will make more sense after you find the uptomp utility and read how to use it.
