Trying to install Oracle 8i on Windows 2000 Pro with Service Pack 2 but when I install the installtion terminate prematurely. I try a remote install but with the same result. The machines that I try install already has Oracle 6i loaded. When I install 8i to another Windows 2000 Pro with Service Pack1 machine I was able install but does not have Oracle 6i. What can cause this problem to occur?
