Oracle careers

Hi,

One of my friend is just b.tech passed out.She wants to start her career in oracle.She is doing her basic oracle course.
Which will be the best next step you can sugest her.

I heard about oracle apps.Will it be good?
and which module of it will be gud for a btech student?

ittoolbox has a dedicated oracle career forum.

you may have to sign up for free to post. try reading some of the other posts too.

you can split oracle into database jobs or application jobs.

under applications there are a bunch of them. not just the biz, accounting, erp but analytical, etc.

read doc for these prods from the oracle otn site.

under database there are various versions and flavors, and dw or your transaction system.

then there are application pgmrs, users who create workflows visually, database admins who set security, dba's who add indexes, files, tune...

you have to do what you enjoy doing so choose one with some knowledge in related areas

They got a lot of information
It helped me to make the right decision
