ORACLE-----creating report

By whowells ·
ANYONE??
can oracle create a report like both of the following examples?
1. Mfr part#'s match up with Company part#'s
2. Company part#'s match up with Mfr part#'s

Ex. 1. Having multiple Manufacturers for 1 Company part#.
Company part#004769
Mfr 1 part#KJSH234JGTR
Mfr 2 part#YUDTHHE9087TR
Mfr 3 part#WRDSE568972TR

Ex. 2 Having multiple Company part numbers for a single manufacturing part number.
Mfr part#KJSH234JGTR
Company part#004769
Company part#367900
Company part#978006

I am unsure what you are asking. Could you please post an example of the output you would like to see?

Ex.1

Joe Company part # 5647-552
Approved Manufacturer's & part numbers

Panasonic AJ235RD65-TR
AVX ITR9803143
MURATA WX43R5898

Different manufacturers therefore different Mfr part #'s, but they are the same type of part(same size, spec's, etc..).
Why?
because when part needs to be ordered and the panasonic is not available I would be able to order the AVX in its place.

ORACLE-----creating report

A couple of questions:

Are you using Oracle Reports or are you needing to create a sql script?

Table Structure:
Is this data all in one table?

What you are asking for can be done, I just need a little more information.

I am not using Oracle but my customer does.
For multiple Bill of Materials (products) that use the same Part (with same manufacturers part numbers)but different company part numbers have been assigned (depending on what Bill of Material it is on)
