Hey Guys,

I'm an 2nd year, computer science and engg student. Will doing a OCP level course help in getting a job. I already have DBMS in course. So is there any additional need for Oracle.

I agree with the previous answer that there is no harm done in completing OCP-level courses.

However, I'd recommend that you'd find a part-time IT-related work that uses Oracle. This will allow you to apply what you've learned in the classroom to the real-world problems. It'd look very good on your resume and could help you land the job using Oracle when you graduate. Also, it'll help you to read any book or article related to Oracle. Hopefully, this will help you make a better decision later.

Going for certification will help you to stay focused on learning Oracle. But experience is still the king in this feild.
