I was wondering if anyone would recommend obtaining an Orb drive for permanent backup of hard drive data? Orb can hold up to 2.2 GB of data and both the drive and disks cost less than Iomega Jaz 2.0 GB drives and disks. On the flip side, I was browsing the web today and came across an article written by an Orb drive user, who complained that the drive kept destroying his data by giving him bad clusters–so I am not sure that the drive is necessarily as reliable as Jaz. Or should I not worry about using external drives/disks to back up data at all and just buy a 20+ GB, USB-connected externalhard drive?
