Hello everyone and thanks for your time! I have an issue with my OS/2 keyboard and I was wondering if you could help me out. I recently bought a USB mouse and today I went to use it with my PC. The problem started when I plugged it into a USB port while the computer was still on. Right after that the keyboard stopped working. The mouse works great but I can't get the keyboard to work now.
I tried restarting several times but that doesn't seem to help. Also I checked the Keyboard properties in the Control Panel and it appears as if there isn't any device plugged in.
I think the keyboard might be broken but I don't have another PC to try it on. If you have any helpful ideas please feel free to reply.
Once again thanks for your time.

Firstly I think you mean PS2 Keyboard not OS2.

OS2 is an Operating System not a connection type for anything.

Firstly have you tried removing the USB Mouse and using a PS2 Mouse?

What type of computer is this and what OS is in use?

Can you enter BIOS?

If you can enter BIOS the Keyboard is Working and you have a Driver Conflict. As you have changes the mouse that would be the logical Starting Point to work from.
