It’s recently been brought to my attention via peermail that I exhibit some bitterness when it comes to the topic of religion. This does not come as a shock to me. I am bitter and for reasons that will, so far, be unxeplained here I feel as if I have reason to be bitter.
What irritates me even more about it is receiving the peermail instead of posting the grievances about me in public in the first place. Air it all out, see if I care.
My views on organized religion are exclusively my own and I feel as if no one, especially someone that I don’t know from Adam, has the right to question what I choose to believe in the privacy of peermail or complain to me privately about how I express my beliefs in public.
I understand the parameters of allowable discussions and replies at TR and whenever I receive a peermail that should’ve been posted publicly it just makes me a little more bitter about religion in general and the peer in particular.
Am I the only one who is bitter about something? Is there a pressing need from other peers to fix all sorts of bitterness in others or is it only when it comes to religion?
Not much of a rant but that’s all I’ve got. Give me freedom FROM religion. Somebody. Anybody.
