I never used PDA to go online, that’s why I have this question. Is the I.E. in the PDA capible to read all web languages (Java, Javascript, Flash, XML & etc)? Coz years ago, it’s only capible reading HTML. If I wanted to, should I buy PDA with Palm OS or Windows OS? Which antivirus program is better to use? Appreciated any comments!!! Thanks!

I can only answer positively for the Palm side of the fence.

So here goes, Right now several of the web browsers will support limited Java and Java script. Only a few devices are beging to have the horse power to support extra features like Flash etc so it will be a little while yet.

As for AV pgms, that’s easy what’s the BEST Desktop AV pgm out there now? See not so easy, there are several GOOD ones out there. Like Symantic’s version, also Innoculate it, Kaspersky? Anti-Virus for PalmOS, Bit Defender, F-Protect and most make a version for the PPC. Even with Smartphone and Bluetooth enable devices there still is not a high probability of getting a virus. But just a matter of time.

I have an IPAQ with Pocket PC OS. IE is capable of reading all web languages. If you get one with Windows OS, PC cillin has a PDA antivirus program.
