out of memory

hi,

i running on Win98 with 256MB RAM.
however, when i was using the Internet Explorer,
the system keeps saying that i’m running out of memory but i have checked that i still got more than 5GB of disk space.

also, can config.sys be deleted from the system?and will Windows automatically recreates it?
