Outlook 2000

By administrator ·
I have client with outlook 2000, the services are running:- Microsoft Mail & Internet mail. Whenever I attempt to send an external mail it happily bounces back complaining no service provider to transport my mail, though sending internally works. I have removed and reinstalled outlook but no change. What do I need to do to impress my client??

Do you perhaps have a firewall that is not allowing email traffic outside the network?

Exchange server?

Your client is connected to a LAN? If so, the domain server must have Exchange Server or any messaging server installed on it and a static IP address from your ISP. Otherwise you can't manage the problem.
Good luck!
