Outlook 2000

I am using Outlook 2000 in Corpoarte email mode, but use a POP3 server not a exchange server. Can I still use public folders and let others have access to each others calendar?

Outlook 98 and 2000 provide a Net Folders feature that provides some sharing, but it's not 100% reliable. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/netfolders.htm.

As was written in the previous answer: it can be done, but it cause lots of problems (if version of outlook is not the same or other parameters like mime and language and so on...). it is not benefit like exchange server + you can not restrict user to only "read" for example, you can give them something that equals to "own" and they can see your private items as well.
