I have jsut tried to upgrade Office 97 to Office 2000 but without upgrading IExplorer. This worked very well, BUT every time a user connects to Outlook, they get the error message “Outlook requires Microsoft Outlook Express 4.01 or greater. ….” and then once you have clicked ok goes directly into Outlook 2000 without any further problem.
We do not have Outlook Express installed on any machines at all – Part of the company policy.
Why does Outlook 2000 want to query Outlook Express 4.01+?
Is there anyway to stop it doing so?
Any clues ???
