Here’s a poser!
I’ve installed Outlook 2000 on both Win98 and 2K machines, all the latest spec, and from time to time, without prompting, Outlook 2000 disappears from the Windows GUI environment. Clicking on the icons to restart it doesn’t work because the processes OUTLOOK.EXE and MAPISP32.EXE are still running happily in the background. Using task manager to end the processes is the only way to restart the program, short of restarting the computer.
Can anyone tell me what’s going on here and how to prevent it? Any help will be most appreciated!
