My ISP requires that I download mail before sending new mail. I must authenticate to the SMTP server; the POP server doesn’t handle my password. BUT.. when I have a message in the Outbox when I dial up the ISP, Outlook tries to send before receiving. Result: Outlook disconnects immediately. Old workaround: Stay connected, let the receive cycle proceed, & resend. This time I’m OK. But the workaround won’t work with O-200 on Win-2000. How do I fix this?
