Outlook 2000 - Filters.txt editing?

By InfosecMN ·
When I edit the filters.txt file and test it, my new edits are not taken into consideration in filtering junk mail and adult content mail in Outlook.

Is there some way to reset this file? I am not entirely sure if this is the file that is actually used when Outlook filters the content.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can't change the filters by editing the Filters.TXT file. That file only
describes the filters that are contained in a DLL.

Doug, I will give this one to you. Thanks but if that is the case, how do I make sure I have the most up to date .dll on my system?
