Outlook 2000 - 'follow-up flag'

By dduffy ·
When I choose to flag for follow-up on a message, the time is defaulted to 17:00. Is there a way one can change this defaulted time?

Outlook 2000 - 'follow-up flag'

Yes, but you probably won't like the answer. It's tied to the 'End time' under Tools/Options/Preferences/Calendar Options. So if you want the default reminder time to be first thing in the morning, you end up truncating the active part of your dailycalendar down to zero time span. Of course, you can still work with your calendar that way, but it will look odd to anyone else in your organization checking on your availability. Why Microsoft chose this silly association is anybody's guess.
