I have a pc with office 2000 professional installed. Outlook had been working fine until two days ago. I get the “splash” Outlook screen, but it goes no farther. If I go into Excel and try and mail a spreadsheet, that works. When I go through advanced search by outlook in explore, that works… I can add contacts, tasks, send email. If I try and open outlook through internet explorer or by shortcut or by opening the .exe it just hangs. If I do a ctl alt delete there is no mention of it not responding…. If I try and open it again then the first one will indicate not responding… I end task on that one and the next splash screen comes up and hangs… the same way. I’ve defrag with Executive Software Diskeeper, Ran Norton Utilities, did a system defrag and scan, did several Microsoft Office repairs and removed Outlook and reinstalled it…also did the norton virus stuff. Nothing is working. Help!!!!!
