Here is a tough one. I have a user whose computer locks hard (must shut off to restart) when she sends a message. It does not happen every time. But it does happen every time with in about 5 sent messages.
Here is what I have tried so far.
1. Reinstalled Office 97 (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access)and Outlook 2000
2. Ran Repair on Outlook.
3. Reinstalled Windows 98 SE
4. Exported her mail box to PST. Deleted account imported old mail back in.
5. Exported her mail box to PST. Deleted account, kept old mail in PST.
6. Renamed mailbox on Exchange (v5.5) and repeated steps 4 and 5.
User is using a two sentence signature and a subject “9506/000000000”
Windows NT 4.0 network.
I am stuck.
