(OS=Win98SE)I am trying to give a client the option to have Outlook2000 auto-reply to mail messages using the Out of office assistant under the Tools menu. The client does not have exchange running on the network, however I installed the Microsoft Exchange Server under Tools, Services, so I would have the out of office option. Once I have the option, it will not initiate. I am under the impression that I need to add outex2.ecf through the add-in manager in Tools, options,other,advanced options. After attempting to add this file and using the exit and log off option. The out of office still doesn’t work. I referenced KB article Q238280 for help but was also unsuccessful. Any suggestions?
