Outlook 2000 problem with greek

By t.kotoulas ·
I installed WIN2K proffesional in an HP omnibook 6000 laptop and also installed the office 2000 professional with SR-1a. Although the regional settings are correct (greek and english (US)) in win2k and the encoding at outlook 2000 is greek (iso), the time and date appear unrecognized, although in all other office apps the date and time appears ok.

Do you know anything about it?

Outlook 2000 problem with greek

Hello.
The closest reference I could find to your problem has to do with DATE/TIME format - but it refers to the Japanese langauage - not Greek. It may help solve your problem anyway. Try changing the date/time format which will, unfortunately, change it for all. The MS KB article is Q265012

Outlook 2000 problem with greek

It seems that the format of the date-time is correct and only the appearance in outlook is bad. The letters are not recognized as greek. It says "monday, 4 June 2001" but in greek the ???????=monday appears as with unrecognized chars. The encoding and the fonts are all checked to be greek (iso) and tahoma which is a unicode font.
