Outlook 2000 .pst Archive Failure

I archived my Outlook 2000 .pst file in December and I suspect that the archiving operation was interrupted. Whenever I try to access the Archive file now, I initially get a dialog: “Properties for this information service must be defined first” andhaving clicked OK to that, a dialog is presented: “Errors have been detected in the file C:\My Documents\Outlook Files\Archive_Dec_02.pst. Quit all mail enabled applications and then use the Inbox Repair Tool.” I can’t find the Inbox Repair Tool andthe Detect and Repair option in the Help menu cannot be run because I cannot open the file. Can anyone help me to recover my lost data (mostly email)?
