Outlook 2000 - Rules

By TeeKay ·
Despite constructing rules with extreme care, (it matters not whether I go via the "organize" button or use the "Rules Wizard), some, but not all, of my received mail ends up duplicated.
Can anyone offer a suggetsion please.

Outlook 2000 - Rules

TeeKay,
I know you said the rules were constructed with extreme care, but examine them closely and make sure you have "move" to another folder and not "copy" to another folder.

Turn off all but one rule and rotate through all of your rules untill you can isolate the rule that is causing the problem, I'm sure that once you have isolated it you will have no problem determining the flaw in the individual rule. You may also have rules that are in conflict i.e. 2 rules that want to move the same message to different locations, this should end up copying the message to both locations.

Whilst this process was tedious it did isolate the rule that was causing the problem. Thank you.
