Outlook 2000 – signature

I have a frustrating item in email message that I would be very greatful if someone could tell me why.

Frequently when typing in a new email message I’ll hit the enter key and my name in brackets appears on it own, [lastname, firstname] this appears in bold, italics.

Can someone tell me how to turn this off?
