Outlook 2003

We are using Exchange 2007 sp1 and outlook 2003 cache mode. I came across that one email that a user sent had the correct date stamp on his sent item. The recipient (internally) received the email one day after. The Exchange logs shows the email was sent and delivered on the date that the recipient received it.
