Outlook 2003 Public Folder Calendar Alerts

I’m running Enterprise Exchange 2003 SP2, Outlook 2003 SP1 – I have tons of Public Folders and some are Calendars. Does anyone know if it’s possible or how to setup desktop alerts to groups of individuals if an items is added or updated to those calendars?
