Outlook 2003 – receive POP but send all through Exchange?

by 4sommers . Updated 18 years, 11 months ago

We have Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003. I have an additional mail account in Outlook to get POP mail.

When mail comes in from the POP account, and I reply, Outlook wants to send it through the SMTP server associated with the POP account. I would like to send _all_ outgoing mail through the Exchange server regardless of whether it came in through Exchange or POP.

I know I can change it manually each time I send by using the “Accounts” button on the new message. But is there a way to always send through Exchange automatically?

Thanks,
Kendal
