I managed to temporarily solve the problem by downloading thunderbird to my laptop, hoping that the problem with outlook and outlook express was somehow related to the fact that i was in turkey. It wasn’t.
I still get the following message Sending’ reported error (0x800CCC13) : ‘Unable to connect to the network. Check your network connection or modem.’
even though i am sending from the same program on the same machine on with the same smtp that i have used for the past year or more.
Now that i am home i have tried outlook express on my second computer and it works fine, but tomorrow i am back on the road and need my outlook on my laptop. Any ideas anyone?
