Outlook 2003 stripping attachments

One particular Outlook 2003 user is finding that their attachments are being stripped when sending to a distribution list, if the email is sent to an individual then the attachment arrives. The attachements are Word (.doc) or Excel (.xls) files.

No error message is recieved by the sender.

Ideas are very welcome …
