Outlook 2003 Virus?

One of the users of Outlook 2003 on an Exchange Server 2003 system is receiving Undeliverable: …. messages that appear to have been sent by him. These are all Russian emails. He does not see anything in his sent folder indicating he has sent these. The Symantec virus scanner does not pick up anything. Is there a way to determine if his Outlook has a virus?
