We have been using Exchange 2007 (on Windows Server Std 2003 R2)for the past year or so. Everything is working fine, but for some reason Outlook 2007 refuses to show free/busy time of any user (not sure if it is a new issue or not, as we haven’t had Outlook 2007 for very long). On top of that, the Out-of-Office Assistant doesn’t work in Outlook 2007 as well.
I think Autoconfigure is configured properly (“test e-mail autoconfiguration” works fine for me). The users who are using Outlook 2003 have no problems seeing the free/busy time or using Out-of-Office. I do know that they work differently in Outlook 2003, i.e. through public folders as opposed to “on-the-fly”.
I have searched everywhere for an answer, but everything I’ve found has said to get Autoconfigure working which, as far as I can tell, is working.
So, how do I configure Exchange 2007 to allow users, running Outlook 2007, to be able to see the free/busy time of their comrades?
