Outlook 2007 Recovering from RSS feed folder

By tomax7 ·
How does one 'recover' an email accidentally put into the RSS folder in Outlook 2007?

I was dragging an email from my Inbox to a folder I created (ie:stuff) and accidently bumped my mouse and it 'unloaded' the email into the RSS folder in the navigation/folder view.

I now show (1) new email in RSS feed folder and an (new email icon) envelope in my system tray that the only way to get rid of is right click on RSS feed and select "mark all as read".

I want to know how to get my email back from the RSS folder. Edit/Undo doesn't work btw.

Did the copy

I did however manage to get the emails by creating a new folder in my INBOX and copying the RSS 'mail and posts' into it.

However, the email (1) still remain in the RSS box.

I tried it again and sure enough if one drags from the INBOX to RSS folder in the left nav pane, it will put it there.

Have a screen shot if anyone wants to see what I am talking about.

Got the answer from Microsoft:

1. Please Right click on the RSS Feeds Folder and click on Copy RSS Feeds.
2. Click Inbox in the Copy Folder Window and click OK.
3. This would create a subfolder ? RSS Feeds under Inbox (Please click on the plus symbol next to inbox to view the subfolders).
4. Please click on the RSS Feeds folder under Inbox.
5. Drag and drop the emails from the RSS Feeds (under Inbox) into the Inbox.
