Outlook 2007 sends meeting request to uninvited person.

By keminor ·
I have a SBS 2003 and Outlook appointment are made by one person for four employees.

A fifth employee always gets copied with the meeting request without being requested.

Info on how the meeting co-ordinator creates the appointment?
For example, your problem may be due to an auto-forwarding rule setup by one of the attendees, or it could be that the 5th/unwanted member could be added as a 'delegate' to one of the 'wanted' four.

What i'd recommend is;
1- check the four attendees' rules under outlook >> tools >> rules and alerts...

2- Check the delegates on the four attendees. outlook >> tools >> options >> Delegates tab

edit: this is assuming that office 2007 settings are in the same place. I'm afraid i've steered away from the new office for as long as possible and am not that 'practiced' in it's settings layout.
