Outlook 2010: Users Aren't Appearing As Desired In Search

By biz_kid1 ·
I have one Outlook 2010 user who has a couple of new employees that aren't appearing as desired in Outlook search. The user is unable to pull up "Jane Jackson" (names changed to protect the innocent ) by first name in the GAL. Jane also does not pull up in GAL if the user uses Advanced Find and types "Jackson" in the last name field, but if she only types "Jack", then Jane pulls up. I verified that Jane pulls up in my GAL successfully and as desired (by typing partial name in the To field of a new email message then clicking "Check names").

Have already tried:

Send/Receive tab > click the down arrow next to Send/Receive Groups > Download Address Book > keep Download changes since last send/receive and full details selected and make sure the Choose Address Book is set to \global address book > click OK - to update the address book in Outlook.

Also tried to rebuild the SRS file (as per instructions here: http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner-user/srs-file/)

Rebooted user's PC and neither had any effect.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
