I installed Outlook 2013 on a brand-new laptop (clean install of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate). Everything works fine – until I connect to my own network.
Free wifi? Fine. Sprint hot spot? Fine. My own wireless/wired? Nope – Outlook 2013 hangs on startup (the splash screen where it says Outlook 2013 Starting…)
Now, as a caveat, my Exchange server is on my network. No problems exist for any users anywhere using Outlook 2010 – or for me, for that matter, using Outlook 2010 on my desktop, so I doubt it is my Exchange server. Besides, as I said, Outlook 2013 works FINE when I am not connected to my network (brings down emails, sends/receives, syncs calendars, address book, etc.).
Safe Mode worked once, then when closed (disabled all add-ons), did not open again.
I am baffled – any ideas?
