Outlook 2K

By sotl ·
I am using OUTLOOK 2K. In the Appointments, Page Setup, Memo Style, all choices are filled in. Yet, when I print it out, the word UNKNOWN appears on the printout just below the header on top of the line.

What does the word refer to and how can I get rid of it?

Memo Style Printout is Brain Dead

by hdpaul In reply to Outlook 2K

Item printout directly from Outlook is basically a brain-dead, canned, no-changes option. The print engine of Outlook is, of course, Word. If you want control of your item printouts, then you have to create a template in word, transfer the outlookdata to word fields, and then send the print instructions. There are many examples of how to do this. A good source of info about Outlook usage can be found at
Code examples can be found on the following page:
They may have reorganized things, so be prepared to go in through the home page and look around. I believe that my Word example is #60, but it might be #35--it's been a while. You also might askin the ms newsgroup on Outlook Usage: microsoft.public.outlook.general, or .outlook.printing. You can also ask in the Outlook Usage section of the Compuserve MS Office Forum:
Look for Section 5.
