When either archiving messages manually or via autoarchive to a PST file we get the message “can’t copy/move the item…”
If you open the messages, close them, then copy/move it works fine. But this is not convenient if you have hundreds of messages to archive.
We’re running Exch 5.5 SP4 on NT Svr 4 SP6a. The problem seemed to have come about after we upgraded Exch from SP2 to 4.
I’ve searched everywhere from an answer but with no luck.
